I personally am going record myself but put my little blobfish avatar over my face. I've also seen people use a 2d or 3d avatar to represent themselves. Just make sure to use captions since you can't read lips without a face. It seems like a small detail but believe me: not being able to see someone speak can make it very difficult to understand what they are saying.
