Hello future player!

This game was updated in, at least, October 9th, 2025! That's a long time after initial release!

If you get to the Cake Room, you might be assuming the game is over. The thing is, I don't know if you're right or not! This is why I am writing to you now.

In older versions of FEZTAL, the big poster on the wall (right of the door) used to be just an image of krzyhau's pfp! But now it looks like some cryptic clue to possibly another room.

Here's what I've deduced we're supposed to do (this is shown left to right on the board:

1. Look at the individual hazards of... levels. If you take just the ones that are on...

2. You get a code to a FEZ tetromino. The example :::.' shape corresponds to "right," for example. For more information look up FEZ tetromino. Basically though, in FEZ, these tetrominos correspond to inputs, and when they're arranged on a stack, they're an input sequence. Now we're getting somewhere...

3. The last image shows that the stack's order is going to be level 1 at the top, and level 20 at the bottom. So our final input is likely gonna be 20 inputs long.

So why haven't I solved this already? well...

WHAT 20 PUZZLES??? This game only has like 5 levels, Portal 1 has 20 levels, but the count starts at 0 and almost none of the hazard patterns line up with the ones on the poster. Portal 2 is already a bit far fetched, and it has the same issues as portal 1. I am lost and would value your collaboration

One more difference in the update: In the code room (the one that "might" require end-game FEZ knowledge), on the wall with one big piece of text, the text has changed. It used to read "I wanted to make something cooler but I am too lazy" but NOW it reads "Cuboids to numbers, numbers to symbols." I think this is intended as a hint into the cake room but thought I'd mention.

The 20 Levels also aren't from Portal: Flash Version (2D) because it has no labelled hazards and more than 20 levels (although I guess it needn't be capped like that). The Portal Flash version (3D) seemingly has no levels at all.
