The chords are really beautiful in this, it's also cool how you labeled the chords in the video. The first 14 seconds would make a good loopable intro when talking to the opponent before the battle starts, as in making in a separate track in a hypothetical ost. My main issue is as a battle theme, the tempo is just not upbeat enough, I think somewhere in the 160-180bpm range would be more suitable for this track. The omission of drums is interesting, but I understand it because this is taking after a gameboy soundtrack that didn't really use drums. While they would help create an atmosphere of high energy, I think the track wouldn't need them if the bass had a faster rhythm, like pulsing every eighth note like in Red/Blue/Yellow battle themes rather than just holding out the note. This is really good, keep it up!
