The game is interesting though I don't quite get the way you described how to defend or the way of activating dice combos. The only one for defending I understood was one 5 or the extremely rare 1 2 3 4 5. I kinda just tried to get lucky with quadruples and double doubles until I got to the canary which instantly killed me. I think the art is fantastic, the music is great, but the actual moment to moment gameplay is a little confusing. I also found it kind of a waste to ever re-roll as it almost always wasted the dice roll but that's just how rng works I suppose. I also found it bothersome that I couldn't undo picking a die.
