Hey Delucas!

It’s been a long time.

First, I want to sincerely apologize for going silent. Life pulled me away from the project for a while, and trying to balance everything ended up burning me out more than I expected (Also, I'm a dad now! That happened). Still, disappearing without proper communication, especially after telling some of you I wouldn’t is something I genuinely regret.

I haven't been idle though. Instead of jumping straight into Season 2 or keeping up promises I couldn't deliver on, I focused on something I've wanted to add for a while: a battle system (card based) for Season 1. The goal is simple - make the game more engaging and less empty movement. Something where it's exciting to get a new card or unlock a new team member.

This feature is meant to add fun and variety, but not turn the game into a heavily gameplay-driven experience, so the focus won't be heavy balancing or in-depth long term gameplay.

Most of the system is finished. What remains is mainly visual work and polishing. And for players who prefer the classic experience, there will be an option to skip battles entirely.

My plan is to finish and release this updated Season 1 first. After that, full focus moves to Season 2.

I know many of you have been waiting a long time for Season 2, and I understand the expectation (and frustrations!). But finishing this foundation properly is important for me.

Current target is roughly 1–2 months. I won’t rush it, but progress is steady.

One more thing, please only stay as patrons if you genuinely want to support development at my pace. No pressure. I want to work on this game the way I did at the beginning: doing the things that are fun, building something I believe in. Your support means a lot, but I want it to feel fair for you too.

All I can really say is I’m back!

Thanks for the info -- I ended up letting the folks running itch know that the links didn't work. They refunded my donation, and maybe sorted the dead links? I ended up picking up the game game on Steam, so all's well that ends well? Cheers!
