I like that you are kind of forced into being aggressive since your health is tied to enemy deaths in a way. I'd also heavily recommend not making the shoot sound linked to the bullet because it gets cut off early if the bullet breaks before the sound ends, also adding a tiny bit of randomness to the pitch of the sound makes it a lot less repetitive. I know that you were on a heavy time crunch, but making it so the health drops bounce out of the corpse and making them grow to full size rather than popping in would make it a lot more seamless. Overall great project for game jam! good job :)
