Simple and direct: i like it! I think the idea is fine enough so i'll concentrate mainly on the gameplay itself. Movement and the floatiness of the jumps work nice to reach all the platforms and enemies with ease however maybe i would have loved to have some fort of horizontal movement like a dash or at leat a projectile that went forward. Still, pretty sweet, good job!

Wait... someone actually likes the floatiness?!?!?!? That is so rare!
