Its not because the rail is too small for the car wheels to touch it just lands on the chasey
You may be able to back up and kind of wall ride on the wall

Just tried that u need more momentum and you cant get to the finish jump it would be easier with one more block to egt more momentum.
If you get on the ramp block, it is possible from that point to make the jump to the finish
