4. If it was Browser Bookmarks (e.g., Chrome)
- Immediate Undo: If you just deleted a bookmark in the Bookmark Manager, you might see a pop-up at the bottom of the screen with an "Undo" button. Click it quickly.
- Restore from Backup (Chrome on Computer): Chrome automatically keeps a recent backup of your bookmarks.
- Make sure Chrome is closed.
- On Windows, navigate to:
C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default - Find two files:
BookmarksandBookmarks.bak. - Rename the current
Bookmarksfile to something else (likeBookmarks.old). - Rename
Bookmarks.bakto justBookmarks. - Re-open Chrome, and your old bookmarks should be back.
