OMG what an absolute treat! Didn't realize there was another one out already. I bought your other two zines a few months ago and really enjoyed them. This one was equally wonderful to read through (and as always, extremely relate to. It be rough out there ;_;)

I really need you to know how much you’ve inspired me to try making my own zine. After a lot of debating on different things I can make a zine about, I think the easiest way to just START one is making something, and stop letting my ADHD get in the way, is making something like yours! Just a little collection of doodles from throughout the year.

I work in retail, and it really blew my mind how many comics I could actually make about my interactions there, once I actually started paying attention in that way. I had a great example of that last night. A little girl came in with her father to buy candy, and he was teasing her about her not leaving any for him if he let her hold the bag on their way home. She kept saying, “you need to stop lying Dad!” as they walked out laughing. She couldn’t have been older than 5 years old.
It was the cutest thing in the world, and also got me choked up because I had an experience similar to that growing up with my own dad, scolding him over a joke. He passed away about a decade ago, but I still think about him all the time. I think that really put into perspective for me how much I have to tell the world, and how many stories I have to tell of him in particular. If I don’t do it, who will, ya know?

Anyway, one long winded comment later, thank you for putting the time into making these. Motivation to make things is hard. Especially hard in this state of the world and when life is just the game difficulty that keeps on getting harder. I really hope to see more of these in the future, and thank you so much for inspiring me to try and make my own.

P.S : BEST OF LUCK MOVING OUT!!!

This is actually one of the sweetest comments I've ever gotten. Thank you so much! I also struggle to start and finish things, and making these comics have helped me stay motivated.  I'm really glad my stuff can inspire more art, that's like one of the best things I think art can do. Good luck making your own comics!! :D
