I submitted the application but have never been granted access permission.
Are you sure you did everything as you should to get verified - do you have "verified" role and can you see other channels than faqz welcome, rules and verify?
If not then you didn't do everything you were supposed to, it all comes down to typing specific code in the #verify channel, read faq again, find the code and type it again
