Yes, that was indeed a strange place.

This is a compelling puzzle game. I liked the environmental variety - I think the forest looked genuinely stunning. I like the concept of how the floors tie themselves together and make you take steps back, though the puzzle itself requires a lot of thinking power. 

I got stuck in the maze floor being unable to find the solution, I did the blasphemous move of looking into the game's code and then realized how obvious it was, and seeing that others also got stuck - The key word is :) 

The biggest issue is more of a nitpick, but this game could use V-Sync - There's a lot of screen tear for me.

Eitherway, this is a cool game and a cool submission. Well done!

Thanks! Maybe I should've added something that would hint to the solution, but I also didn't want to make it too obvious.

Maybe a slightly different color for the picture frame could help with that. The problem is that the player has no incentive to look out for the smiley picture specifically - This change can help it stand out and actually catch tbeir attention
