I'm not using the steam version though i'm using the download off the website, also i attempted to it's too inconsistent with the non-steam version
It doesn't matter if you using the steam version or another one. The only difference is the location where you have to exchange the files. But there is no technical difference.
so where is the location cause the files i'm looking for because i can't find the file that it says i need no matter what folder i look in
I don't know. I have the steam version. You have to search the internet for an answer or just search in your system.
