Brilliant Report as usual! I'm definitely a little late to the action here but progress looks like its going really well.

As for feedback, I was wondering if an LRAD (Long-Range Acoustic Device) could work as a unique weapon. It would obviously be a fair bit more powerful than real-life versions and would be most effective against fleshy targets. I imagine it would stun targets, detonate missiles and deal damage over time, as well as be able to bounce off walls and around corners - great for working in combination with secondary missiles.

As for bugs, I was wondering if you could make different enemy types based off the lifecycle of one species. For example, the larvae could be weak chaff, working their way up into carers, workers, soldiers, and ofc the queen. (maybe the chemical grubs are just mega crustacean babies!?) I know its probably an overdone trope at this point but it would still be cool to see.

Thanks for the feedback and ideas!

I like this concept, I think fighting different kinds in a level would certainly help things feel less repetitive. The LRAD for a primary weapon also sounds unique, but I don't know if it'd be very satisfying to use as it wouldn't fire projectiles or a solid beam.
