I’m trying to keep my release build ‘no AI-generated art’. Can you confirm whether any AI generation/assistance was used for these portraits? If there was AI involved, I can still use them for prototypes, but I need to label them correctly. (same question of course for the viking-pack)

Yes. AI was used as part of the production process for these portraits (including the Viking set).
The artwork was generated using Freepik’s licensed commercial plan, which grants commercial usage rights for generated assets according to their terms.
All AI usage is declared in the product metadata and submission forms. I’m not sure why that information is not being clearly displayed on itch.io’s interface, but I’ll also be adding clearer notices in future banners/descriptions to avoid confusion.
