Pretty awesome you did this from scratch in a JavaScript canvas. The into/UI presentation is really polished and fun to look at. It immediately gave the game its charm. The whole alien post-office is really creative too and trying to decipher what different species are saying instead of just clicking the obvious option makes it feel unique. I liked the handbook system and the little cat-a-log touches too. It added to the quirkiness of the world in a good way. Really cool proof-of-concept, and very creative direction to take for a jam.
