I especially like the “explore” and “collect” mechanics. Having only three chances to unlock the next room makes the experience very exciting and stressful in a good way. It really increases the sense of urgency. The dynamic text and images also help build suspense and make the haunted house feel more alive.
Maybe you can add a stronger or more detailed ending. After such a tense experience, having a more impactful conclusion — such as multiple endings, a twist, or a brief explanation of what really happened — could make the game feel more complete and memorable.
