Sexuality is only complicated for people who are unwilling to be honest with themselves.

Look. I can identify as Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farms all day until I'm purple and fuchsia, it doesn't mean I actually am Rebecca, nor will I ever be.

You get the point?

A man who calls himself straight because he has a wife or a girlfriend, yet the overwhelming majority of his sexual partners are men,  well, he can identify as straight until he also turns purple and fuchsia. However, the math doesn't quite add up.

 It's really not that complicated.

Unless you are of the opinion people can't choose their gender by saying it their is clear cognitive dissidence in your throat process given the strong similarities, but neither cognitive dissidence or saying people can't choose their gender is popular no matter which one it is guess it all depends on what type of enemy you like making with your beliefs. Fortunately i don't believe how you do about sexuality, so i do not have to choose between inconsistent logic or having beliefs that get me cancelled if i am not careful. Allow me to explain, a guy who identities as straight not being straight because they don't seem like, it is no different then telling someone who identifies as a woman that they are a man because they look like a man.

This is not even fucking English and he thinks I'm the reason that nothing he's saying makes any sense to me...

1 plus 1 will always and forever equal 2 no matter the opinion or circumstance.

Somethings really aren't that complicated.

Just because a person wants to believe something, that doesn't make it true.  With basic common sense, which is extremely rare these days, and simple logic, you can figure most things out.

Of course, plenty of folks will argue and fight to convince themselves that the hand they are holding in front of their face isn't actually there.

But,

Is that hand still there?

Of course it is, and it never left.  They just chose not to see it.

It really is just that simple.

Good to hear someone from the lgtb+ community with common sense for once, everyone is to busy trying to be accepted to recognize just saying your a girl doesn't make you a girl, we might get along after all.

I couldn't agree more!  Finally, another person with common sense!

Good faith self-identification is valid. The issue is that a lot of straight cis men pretend to "identify" as women or gay in bad faith.
