The is really nice! A bit short, but what do you even expect for a fully drawn escape room in a game jam? The art and atmosphere are both excellent, and it got scary at times (wandering into the hallway too early). The grey scale sells the horror perfectly. The difficulty is just right, though I think it gets a bit too easy towards the end. Overall, this is a super polished game, and I really enjoyed it! Well done!

Other things I like:

  • Ambient sounds are super immersive
  • The itch page looks really cool
  • Nottendo

Suggestions:

  • I don't really like the arrow button at the top, feels a bit difficult to understand. I would rather have the traditional arrows on the ground if the top arrow doesn't have another meaning
  • The cashier password puzzle might need a bit more explanation/clarification, as the number pad doesn't feel like a place to put the password at all

Thank you so much for the feedback! 🩷

Making the game greyscale was something I brought up for trying to save on time, I’m glad you think it sells the horror aspect!

And thank you for the itch page compliment too, I love decorating them
