Wow, this is super fun! I loved a good and hard puzzle game, and this certainly delivers! My final time is 17:24.91, which I am super proud of. The concept itself is truly unique, and I easily can see it being expanded to a full game! Well done! My only major critique would be a conflict or using or not using the zoom function, which, on one hand, is super helpful when controlling the fourth iteration level, yet keeping an eye on everything at the same time felt mandatory, especially in later levels. Overall, well done!

Other things I like:

  • The simple artstyle, which fits these games quite well
  • Levels and mechanic variations
  • Difficulty progression
  • Fractals
  • Zoom controls hint shown at all times

Suggestions:

  • Though not necessary (and a bunch of steam game don't do this), adding some theme or story would make an already good puzzle game truly excellent and polished
  • It would be fun to see other fractals than triangles

Other than that, I can't find anything to critique honestly, hands down one of my favourite games in the jam

Wow, thanks for such a detailed comment! One idea we had was allowing the user to drag and drop to change the order of the triangles in order to make the “important” ones bigger or put connected ones next to each-other. That would have certainly helped with the zooming issue but unfortunately we ran out of time. We also played around with different fractal shapes, and even wrote all the necessary code to support it but once again time was an issue. Thanks again for your feedback, it really means a lot!
