the game needs to have you get to the first device you might need to not farm so much to start so you can get to the first device and then die right after so you can start the cycles.

In the first run (the most critical) you should be as fast as possible. Dont hack the office door, just force it. Rush to the rover emergency suit to get air going asap. Make sure that whatever you do, before you set out, that you have full water as that will always be your limiting factor on the first drive. Force consume water if you have to in order to get as close to full as possible.
