Good idea and great excecution in the jam timeframe, some of the emails really got me in the feels. Made me jump then laugh when the washer started going absolutley nuts for the first time next to me LOL. The hands added a bit of visual comedy to the whole thing that matched the artstyle. I think some little grunts or sounds from the guy you play would make the whole thing feel much more alive. I definitley think part of the experience was hampered by long stretches of silence partially down to no footsteps or sounds when you interact with various items. Dont underestimate a sound pass as part of your last minuite polishing phase in whatever you work in next.
Incredible for a first game jam, keep making them!

We did try to make a sound pass, but I think we're simply not really good at it, at least for now! That's something we have to ask during playtests, like, "what would you imagine as a sound in reaction to this"
That washer, really when I first saw it, I told my partner we'd have to fix it; he said NO WAY, LOL
Cheers, thanks for the review!
