The early segment was very confusing, and it was hard to guage the hitbox for the hands.  Being with the hands and randomly flipping controls so long was confusing enough that I was genuinely debating moving on to a different game when it suddenly moved on. It was far more clear and enjoyable moving through the game from the crabs onward. I think if the early segment were a little more transparent about what was expected of the player it would be a bit easier to get through.

I loved finally getting to see all the aesthetic sneak peaks from before in context, along with seeing the character change with each area.  It also really made me want to play spore because segments of this reminded me of that game. Just being a lil buddy in the ocean just trying to survive.

Ahh thanks for giving it a go!! Ya know I really dropped the ball on that first segment, it's the thing I'm getting negative feedback about the most by far. I think I need to make it shorter and more clear. There's a few sprites that have awkward hitboxes. The next plugin I want to learn is one to customize the hit boxes better, but just didn't have time for the jam. I worry the jellyfishes during the crab sequence are hard to touch also (Like, the hitboxes being on the BOTTOM of the jelly was so awkward to justify in the art, if that makes sense). RM hitboxes are designed for one square T_T lol.

Had a lot of fun with designing this one, especially the different sprites. Glad you liked it! Thank you again for the feedback!

It's sadly one of the hazards with making sprites sometimes, and I found the jellies segment to be relatively easy and really clever honestly. I liked that we had to use scales to lok around, it was a cool mechanic! :D
