Imagine this, the ideal situation should be:

I wrote a new rule not to allow the use of AI in any part of the whole competition. In the meantime, all entrants are honest and don't ask any AI to help to make their games. Is this the best situation? Of course. However,  the major issue should be that no one can prevent any entrant from using AI even I wrote this new rule. This new rule is almost useless. Right?

( I didn't mention anything about AI in the rules of this jam = Not disallow the use of AI in the jam. Even you or I want to solve this issue but there are only about 3 days before the start of the jam. Perhaps we can find a good solution about the use of AI in BASIC Jam #8. Do you agree?)

I agree, hard to check - we'd simply have to trust people :)  Also, being allowed to use AI might make more people join the jam.

I will atleast mention it if I decide to use AI for some part of my entry.

Thank you for understanding my difficulties. Thanks for supporting the jam!
