Visuals

1 ... jump scare interesting buts is buggy:

1.1 . I see 2 dummies -> inspect entire train 2 dummies -> me -> wait enemy to show up ->

..... I remove enemy -> wait door to open == NO -> shoot 2nd enemy -> this guy didn't even moved -> I got sound scared from behind & this guy was still siting on spot

2 ... jumpscare animation is buggy (sound works good)

2.1 . sometimes appear behind me when I am in the corner of the train


Controls

1 ... not so much responsive (rotation), movement OK

2 ... camera rotation too slow (like I have no controls)


Design

1 ... enemy may be behind you when you spawn -> fix level design

2 ... guns works like I have no controls where it shoots

3 ... build-up fear -> now is almost instant: you go in game -> 10sec -> jumpscare

3.1 . maybe add some dialog & random people & slowly start doing place strange

4 ... interesting idea which works


Bugs

1 ... felt out of train after hugging corner to see this monster


Sound

1 ... fits in game well -> scary

Most of the issues you highlighted are indeed bugs (the anomaly spawning behind the player, mouse sensitivity, and the broken jumpscare).

As for the "build-up of fear," we are definitely thinking about it. Our main concern was that if we made a slower intro/backstory, we might lose the player's attention too early. So right now, we are trying to figure out how to make that build-up engaging enough so the player doesn't close the game before reaching the core gameplay.
