The hallucinogenic trees that bleed originally come from Valdevia's artwork, called Bloodbark as well, so maybe you'd need to ask him too? I'm not sure since after all this game does credit his artwork anyway.
If you do ask him I'm sure he would be glad to give you permission and as excited to see what you come up with as I am :D
