Great work! The game feels really polished. It somehow reminds me of Star Birds. Cosmic Coloniser is like the little pixel art brother to that, only with a slightly darker side. o.o
I'd prefer the UI Tooltips for the upgrades appearing next to the upgrade icons. Maybe slide out to the left?
