How did you choose to implement the Theme: Endless Ocean in your game?
What Fishes Know is sort of an inverted version of the prompt. Instead of a thallasaphobic horror, it's more of a claustrophobic horror. It's about the horror of knowing you are meant for a vast space, but being contained to a very small one.
Did you implement any of the optional Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?
I did not
Did you create your game in RPG Maker?
Yes
Does your game contain AI-generated assets?
No

loved this. this is what rpg maker exists for. it's more like interactive poetry than a traditional game but it's a heck of a poem. i loved the surreal collage art and the words and themes made me think about captivity and agency in new ways. genuinely inspiring. maybe we are all beautiful things, reduced to mud
Thank you!! I had a lot of fun making it. I haven't touched rpgmaker since highschool, but i love exploratory poem games and have been wanting to make some and thought this was the perfect chance :)
Cool take on the theme!
