Okay, here’s what the project is about as taken from the original post.

“Hello, I’m Blankmarks. I was one of the writers on the visual novel “As Inside, From Within”. I chose not to be credited at the time, as my route was being changed, and I had a feeling the project wouldn’t move beyond the demo. Eight months later, that seems to have been the case.

But I wrote over 10,000 words for the High School Student route, and I’d really like to see it finished and released. The story is complete, and I have a seasoned programmer on board. I’m planning a much smaller, standalone version of the game. No voice actors, no paid assets, just a tightly focused visual novel built with care and intention.

👉 This project is not affiliated with the original team. I have no rights to any other routes or assets and will not use them. The title will be changed, and if necessary, I’ll alter names and the prologue to fully respect the original creators.

If anyone from the original team sees this—especially you, Vermillion—I hope you understand this comes from a place of love for the work we started. If it bothers you, I’m happy to make changes to ensure everyone’s comfortable.

I’m looking for character artists with a taste for horror. Here is what we need from you:

Title Screen CG [Optional] Six character sprites, each with four expressions. [The amount has changed since some expressions are done and some needed less or more.]

Once the game is released, then you can sell the character art you created for the game and showcase them on your portfolio. As long as you credit this game and the original demo.

Let’s give this story the ending it deserves.
