Finally got the legendary fish!!! Chill and simple fishing game. Love see to all my prized fishy swimming in my tank. Interesting take on the theme, would love to see this get expanded more mechanically!!
Something to consider:
- Fix the smoothing/blending of the pixel art. It looks good, it's just almost there.
- I agree with the comments; the fishing mechanic can get monotonous. Maybe add some stake to the fishing, like don't allow the spinner to spin forever. Or if you fail a catch, you lose your bait (money in this case). Try adding another level of depth to the fishing mini-game or another mini-game to the mix.
- Minor visual suggestion: Upgrades to the gear are reflected visually on the rod the player character is holding. It might add more satisfaction, and show visual progression.
