I'm a big fan of over scoping my games so I can see a lot of charm in a unfinished game.

I like the little auto battler combat you made and I can see you put a lot of work into all these systems to make it feels like a real RPG. The most obvious feedback is it requires some art to bring it all together.

I think you've mentioned it already but the scaling is pretty crazy, I was lvl 200ish and farming the lvl 450 zone just to get a single level a fight. I think I hit 300 when i could gamble on 650 levels and it was mostly a dice roll on if I would win and I'd still only get a few levels out of it.

I also have no idea how I'd accomplish anything in 20 BP, I think I was -500 or something at the end.

Luckily the boss actually wasn't very tough so I was grinding for nothing it seems.

Nice work.

haha yeah i end up spending almost all the jam period doing all the system.

I didn’t really playtest aside for checking error, i envision a meta progression in the game where each time you would be able to go further by buying or dropping loot. Right now it’s kinda crazy without proper scaling (i need to put some though on it) and you honestly won’t go far with only 20.

I thinks i will change how recovery work by spending on gold instead of BP anyways BP is not the priority i have right now and honestly i don’t even know if i will stick with the BP part or not, it will depend on when the scalling is done properly and when there will be more content to really be able to see the progression with limited amount of battle.
