I had to re-read the text a couple of times to get the hang of it, but figured it out after a while.
A tip for tutorial text: maybe show only one piece at the time and let the player click through it, that makes it easier to digest ;)
The graphics are nice and consistent, I liked the style. Also good fit for the theme (but maybe I say that because we have a slightly similar approach to the theme :D)
