Luck does affect all tickets on the table from the moment you buy it it also affects tickets the Scratch Bot has already scratched. The only thing it doesn't affect is if you have already opened and scratched a ticket.

As for challenges they are the newest feature we added and they might change a bunch in the full release based an all the feedback we have gotten
