Thanks so much for playing! So yes it is randomly generated, but always such that there is one planet that is a certain amount better than the rest. I agree even for us the later levels are pretty tricky! Especially because we didn't really implement any other systems (like you suggested) for having more knowledge or control of the traits and their interactions. We are super glad you had fun playing though!!
