I LOVE the concept! My feedback would be that if the character model was smaller and more centered in the square tiles as they were walking (feet not touching bottom, head not touching top of a square) it would be more clear whether i was walking into a safe or unsafe square. I felt like moving left and right after moving up or down made it difficult for me to tell whether i was going to walk into a safe or unsafe square.
I love the concept and the art. Really well done with all of the assets and the vibe of the game it put me in. I really felt like i was in the museum of strange!!
