Since the game has a "vore" theme, the main character could also use vore to his advantage as "enhancements" while also undergoing noticeable changes in the character's physique.
Redrawing the character over and over has been mentioned before to be extremely inefficient, as it would make every subsequent update take longer and longer.
Basically this yes, plus it would be ultra annoying whenever there is an animation.
If there was no main character but a throaway make your own char it's be fine sice I would have just made a first person view and you would have never even seen the enhancments in the first place :)
