For skill building it’s definitely something you get better at the more you do it. So just keep making things. Each one will be better than the last. It also means don’t focus too much on one project. Just get it done, learn what you can from it, and move on.
I’m not the best to ask about time management. I’ve had too many all nighters lol. But keep your scope small. It’s better to have a smaller game than one you can’t finish in time.
