I think so, may I ask why look for horror games if you can't handle jumpscares? for the thrill? for me the more I experienced jumpscares the better I handled them
it is for the thrill, yeah! if a game has jumpscares and i'm not expecting them it's just not a fun time, anxiety-wise, and they're easier to handle if i know they're coming. it's an accessibility thing, like an arachnophobe asking if there's spiders so they can prepare mentally (or turn it off if that's a setting, i guess)
