 it is for the thrill, yeah! if a game has jumpscares and i'm not expecting them it's just not a fun time, anxiety-wise, and they're easier to handle if i know they're coming. it's an accessibility thing, like an arachnophobe asking if there's spiders so they can prepare mentally (or turn it off if that's a setting, i guess)

before i try out this game, are there any jumpscares? i'm super sensitive to them so just making sure
