Don't rush, do things at your own pace. The simple fact that this game is being made with passion and dedication already demonstrates great potential, not to mention the humor and art, which are excellent. I see a great combination here, it's as you said, there's nothing more to do, now it's just a matter of moving forward. Good luck with the project, I will always be following the news here and on X.
