This version of the game is a more self-contained fun one.
I think it could be a good lazy RTS. Maybe if I bring upgrades and dynamics from the other game - so player has to think if they need more cheap factories, or resources, or really high tech units
And the original plan was even leaning a bit into roguelike so there are 10-20 unique missions and each would require different tactics and upgrades. But it was too much back then and it did not fly off. Maybe after the two incremental I want to make I come back to it and make an RST roguelike, dunno. Would be neat
