AHHHH i went into this blind while looking for nostalgic dress up games (girlsgogames... i miss you so), and loved the turn it took!
this game made me feel something very similar to how silent hill 3, lacey's games, junji ito's 'tomie', and okazaki kyoko's 'helter skelter' all made me feel. and on top of that this definitely looks and feels like something i may have played as a kid! i LOVE media that portrays the horrors of girlhood, and i think you captured it so well!. they're so cathartic for me, and we need more art like that in the world now more than ever.
i will also say halfway thru i was more scared of the player/protagonist being the creep and doing something awful to sera than i was of sera being spooky T_T now i'm left wondering what kind of person is this 'friend?' a family member? a weird internet stranger? i think i'll be thinking about this game for a while, it's so cool!!
