as a person who has middle eastern roots but grew up in europe, this is exactly how it feels to talk to my dad. it's the same emotional distance that just doesn't seem to end, and a dad that only tries to have a father-son relationship on his own terms & doesn't believe in neither therapy nor meds. i wish he wasn't so quick to dismiss getting professional help as a 'western method' with insisting that being more faithful is a solution to every problem in life. truly a great game, made me tear up. super realistic!!
