What worked for me was in order:

1. Using it as an excuse with Lisa on one loop
2. Showing it to C4 Cassidy on the next loop
3. On the third loop
   1. Getting a demonstration of Lina's Camera
   2. Collecting the note at Noon
   3. Showing the note to Alex at Noon

If all went well, talking to Jenny and Lina in the Afternoon that same loop will have a new dialogue option
