Ok thanks for reporting this!
So I've just tested it, I think I can see what's going on here. You order your cards for the next round, but the order you play your cards in during that round is the order they end up in next time you arrive at the shop.
So the cards need to 'remember' their original positions and reorder themselves at the end of the round.
