If you ever want and have time to come back to it, the moon sphere is on a little plateau on the opposite corner of the map from the sun sphere (not on the mountain, on the rugged terrain just across the river from the village), if you walk straight in the direction of the villager that points towards it, you should find a windy updraft area that blows you up onto the plateau, you can see the glow faintly from the village I think.
