I'm not sure if there was more planned, but it feels like this became a bit overscoped with some unfinished elements. It's a bummer and happens to all of us. In your case, I really wanted to see the story. The characters feel fun, and everything looks pretty good. I think it's a bit of a bummer that it just ends after you get on the boat. I would have liked to sail it to rescue that one guy drowning.
That said, the art is cool and environment is very well made. Great job!
