看不惯你往他视频底下骂他不就得了,发官方干什么玩意儿?何意味?这种人不多的去了。
Translation:
If you can’t stand him, just go comment under his videos and curse him out.
Why bother posting it on official channels? What’s the point? People like this… there aren’t many left, fortunately.
这种人就是个代表,你抖音骂他没用,抖音会屏蔽掉你的评论,就得在官网鞭策他,让那些死肥宅认清现实,别一直活在自己的世界里,至少itch是国际化的,骂这种人够了
Translation:
People like him are just one example. If you curse him on Douyin, it’s useless — Douyin will delete your comments. So you have to expose him on the official site and let those stubborn basement-dwellers see the truth. Don’t keep living in your own little world. At least Itch is international — I’m tired of cursing people like this.
Hey, @kwkwnka.
I want to clarify something and apologize.
The reason that toxic reply from @25253 appeared is because I was the one who accidentally approved it.
Yesterday, I had a long debate with my best friend regarding moderation work.
We talked about a user who had reported me for simply delivering game news. The report was hateful, unfair, and full of denial. That conversation drained me a lot emotionally, and in the end… I made a mistake.
I ended up approving every pending post from 3 years ago up to today without reading anything carefully.
I was tired, upset, and honestly numb at that moment, and that is how that reply slipped through, even though the situation with you was already fully resolved two weeks ago.
I remember the thread clearly, and normally I would never allow that kind of comment, but at that moment I simply wasn’t thinking straight.
This mistake showed me exactly why I moderate the way I do:
But recently, some people have said they want more freedom, fewer rules, and less moderation, even if that means allowing more toxicity.
If a community becomes like that, then the moderator role loses its purpose.
People will play the game, yes, but they won’t stay in a community that becomes hostile.
I really do try to understand everyone’s perspective.
I let people share opinions whenever it is safe and reasonable.
But at the end of the day, it’s my job to make sure the community stays in order and follows the rules. That includes deleting comments that are harmful or escalate conflicts.
Other moderators have complimented my work, and many users even thought I was part of the dev team because of how much I’ve helped for over a year, long before I officially became a moderator.
I only ever do what I believe is truly necessary to protect the community.
My best friend misunderstood my intentions and thought I was moderating based on anger or emotion, instead of logic and responsibility. That hurt me more than I expected, and the whole debate affected my judgment last night.
I’m sorry to unload this on you, @kwkwnka.
You didn’t ask for this, but I needed to explain why that reply slipped through, and why I try so hard to keep things clean and orderly here.
Since some people want to express anything they want freely, I hope it’s fair that I can also speak honestly about what happened.
Thank you for reading, and again... sorry for the accidental approval.
dude... youre hurting... what have you been through? i dont understand whats going on but...
You did a great job. no one is saying that you did a bad job. you make everything in order and make everyone follow the rules. i dont see anyone being toxic or anyone asking for weird sex stuff for a while now and it was all because of you right? you did a very good job to be honest. toxic people need to not be heard. repeated requests were flooding the page. and i think you handled everything perfectly. deleting them away make the page cleaner. yes people will feel bad if their post get deleted but they also have to understand the rules and understand why their post got deleted. if you break the rule you will get punish. if you break the rule your post would get deleted to keep everything in order. i seen mods on discord. compare to them. you are a lot more calmer than them. you are reasonable. you treat everyone while being very polite. dude. you handled the mod role even before you become one. that already said that you are a good mod.
cheer up dude. I think you and your best friend will be back together again one day. good friends argues. but true friends are the one who will comeback no matter how big the argues was.
You did a good job. I'm grateful to people like you. I'm not blaming you. I don't have any problems with you. I just feel speechless to MDRG fans in our own country. Do you know Genshin Impact's game? Now China discriminates against Genshin Impact players. Now Chinese MDRG fans are as naive as Chinese Genshin Impact fans. I don't want to see our Chinese MDRG fans in such a situation, so I talk about them
