There's a lot of good things, and a few things I wish were different. The good things are, the art, the vibe, the cuteness of everything. You really went all out on a theme and it paid off. I didn't see a single thing that felt out of place. The music is great, the movement is so smooth and satisfying, which is really hard to do with mouse controls. Mechanically, this is a great concept, and I think you have a lot of potential here.

Theres a few things that I would really love to see changed. The first, and in my opinion the most important, is that the enemy characters should at least maintain an outline, or fade to white or something that doesn't make them so hard to see. Hunting them down while visible is tough enough, but it's almost impossible when they're invisible.

As far as the enemy movement, I'd say it's cranked to 11 right now. Which initially was fun. I liked the chaos of trying but failing to get 5 of them at once. Then when I tried a different map, things got really crazy. It felt like there was some strategy to get them, or maybe it's just RNG to get them? Either way, the balance of "control enemies a bit to collect" and "make the enemies hard to collect" seems weighted too much to the hard to collect side.

Other than those two things, this is really an incredible submission. I could see this being a really fun game, and I hope to see a full release someday. Great job!

Thanks for your feedback ! I'll keep everything you said in mind!

But assuming the second map you chose was the Aether, the enemies from that map (balloon, honey, cat) are supposed to fly around and be fast, I guess I made a mistake :')

And yes, there is a strategy that's viable for most enemies, which is chasing them into corners and killing them. But all the enemies function in a way that automatically allows that to happen from the player :D

Goodluck on the jam!

I wouldn't go so far as to call it a mistake. I'm impressed by the quantity of enemies. They each feel unique, so I think with some more time to lock in, I'd figure it out eventually. The tutorial did a great job of teaching the important things. I just have to git gud for the rest of it lol.
