Lookin' pretty good!
Some suggestions:
Add arrow keys for movement. I'm left-handed and I can't play with both my hands crowded to my left side.
Key "Numpad 0" to attack nearby enemies
Key "Numpad ." or "G" to gather everything nearby
Interact-area for clicking seems a little small. I tend to try to click on the top of the grass, or the middles of trees, rather than where they intersect with the ground.
Took me all day to find enough materials for one axe, maybe make sticks more common than plant fibers.
